Questions
Common questions.
Straight answers about what the platform does today.
Who is AgrivaCT for?
Growers, farm managers and agronomists who want to see what is happening in each part of a paddock. Today the platform covers soil monitoring, farm mapping, zone weather, seeding readiness and field records. Canola decision support is in pilot.
Do I need a probe in every zone?
No. The farm map, zone weather and field records work without one, and seeding readiness can run from weather alone. Its confidence score is capped until a probe in the zone supplies measured soil data.
Do I need a gateway or an on-farm network?
No. The probe connects over LTE-M or NB-IoT cellular networks and sends readings straight to the cloud. Where coverage drops, it stores readings and sends them once it reconnects.
How accurate are the yield predictions?
Yield prediction is part of the canola pilot, and the model is still provisional. We will publish accuracy figures only after it has been validated against real paddocks. Until then, every prediction carries a High or Low confidence label.
Which crops are supported?
Seeding readiness has thresholds for canola, wheat, maize and sunflower. The decision-support pilot (growth stage, yield and nitrogen) is built for canola.
Is there a mobile app?
Yes, for iOS and Android. It shows your zones on a map, your field records with photos, zone data and probe set-up.
Who looks after my data?
AgrivaCT is part of Constellation Technologies Limited (ASX: CT1), and enquiries and account data are handled under the Constellation Technologies privacy policy.
